Why did you join BBGR?

I joined BBGR in 1980 when it was the manufacturing arm of Dollond & Aitchison. I intended to stay for 3 weeks to earn money for college. I started in the glazing department and when computers started to be introduced into manufacturing, I moved into IT.

What do you do on a day to day basis?

On a day to day basis I manage the IT team, and oversee the IT infrastructure within BBGR to the rest of the Essilor Group. My team also play an important part in maintaining a customer Webtracker.

What are the biggest challenges you face in the business?

The biggest challenges we face are meeting the many demands on IT for developments on the system and resolving issues quickly to keep the orders flowing.

How has BBGR supported your career and ambitions?

BBGR have helped me with my career and ambitions by providing training and education.
